Dot Dot Dot

They say you can look in your inspiration folder and see that usually, most all of the time, there is a common thread with the colors and/or general feel of a piece that draw you in and make up your style likes.  Well, whoever "they" are, they clearly know what they're talking about.  Especially when it comes to me and my obvious case of adoration for the polka dot. 

So naturally, when I saw Time Enough For Drums' Annie shared the same spotted affinity, I felt not only vindicated in my polka-patterned phase, but also thrilled to have to go on the hunt (a bargainista's work is never done) for my wardrobe's next - hopefully blue and white - frock addition.

And I think I found it.  Right here. Now if only I could find a similiar creamy cardi to double up on my dotted darlingness, just like Miss Annie.  Hm.  Guess that just means I'll have to go on another hunt, thanks to her spot on style.  Dot dot dot.
