Boy do I want to be part of this crew ... even after fully realizing the cost of uniforms alone to be at least an arm and a leg (and maybe even a hand and a foot too) I just can't help it ... in the end, with all that layer-y goodness about, it somehow justifies the price of admissions to being a very small price to pay.

The weather gods and I must have co-conspired and wardrobe mind-melded early, early this morning as I lay there enjoying the lightning show right outside my window because all I could possibly conceive of throwing on for the day is something big and chunky and all sorts of comfy - just like my bed's covers - and just like everything at LeMuse.

Imagine being wrapped up in nothing but the warmest of warming whites, gorgeous grays and bed-like blacks all made to fit, conform and move to nothing and no one but the beautiful you.  A clothes cocoon of the prettiest proportions.  Now please excuse me for the confines of my own covers are calling ...

Closet Cleanse

The blue trousers alone from Zara have made me want to throw open my closet doors and take out every single legging, jean and super fitted top in sight and replace them all with loose-fitting, layer-able lovelies like the perfect white shirt and camel-colored cardi.  Yum.

I am diggin' the military trend that we are seeing everywhere these days and think that this little dress proves it most adorably (just look at those buttons and that collar!) and how darn cute would it be with an army green vest and a throwback pair of totally-worth-saving-up-for floral Docs?

Lashing Out

I've got a plan.  A pretty peepers plan.  With this mascara in hand, I am going to swipe and coat every last one of my bottom lashes to the fullest of full effects ... so much so that people will have no choice but to presume that my luscious lower lashes are in fact falsies ... but you and I will know the truth that all it took was a wondrous little eight dollar wand.

I'm just a little miffed that as soon as I find an entire collection that I want to wear the crud out of (preferably more than just once a day too) the weather has decided not to cooperate with me.  But little does Fall know, I've got a master plan - I'll just wear all of these lovely looks with tights - Ha!  Fall just got foiled!

Elegantly Waisted

I'm totally climbing aboard the high-waisted pants train now that I've seen these beauties.  No more worrying if I need to belt or cinch around it by throwing on (and buttoning up) a long-ish cardi to hide imperfections.  Nope.  Not with these.  All I gotta do is find a top to tuck in and show off that waist and my job is done.

Looks Can Be Deceiving

I wish I could say that I was wearing something this stylish while painting my bedroom for the past two days or so, but in all reality, it's a boxy black tee with Johnny Depp's Mad Hatter character across it (to hide all my unfortunate splatter) and grey-ish (now covered with white spots and splotches) leggings whose days are quite numbered.

Oh Holy Hannah! Fall is most definitely welcome here now that I've spotted this scrumdeeliumptous sweater that I would wear with what else than bright look-at-me-red lips (to match those big cherry red buttons), my favorite denim-y jeggings and my motorcycle-ish boots for the tootsies.  Perfection.

I quite envy men whose wardrobes seem to consist of a few foolproof staples: a worn-in t-shirt, perfectly fit jeans, a pair of boots - and the cherry on top - a buttery leather jacket to which they always look so effortlessly cool.

So I've decided that's where my own style will lean and take me in the fall-ish months ahead (seeing how my affinity for all things comfy, grey, black and white doesn't seem to be going anywhere any time soon) I'll be the cool casual chick.  Yeah. 

And I have just the man (and designer) to fit my stylish bill: Adam Levine.  You know, the just-scruffy-enough singer from Maroon 5 with his upcoming new line (for men and women) called 222 (his very own luckiest of lucky numbers) where casual is the word (and style) of the day. 

I know what you're thinking, but don't worry; even though this is coming from a celebrity, I even think I could afford his dresses, tees and jeans with a little extra saving of all my pretty little pennies.  Nice, right? Totally chic and affordable?  I'm so buyin' what he's sellin'.

I know I'm not alone in saying that as soon as I see a dress with pockets, it instantly gets that much cuter.  It just does.  So naturally, when I saw the picture above, I made a mental note that the next time I'm out shopping for a dress I will most definitely check to see if it has my must-have accessory attached.

Sky High

After seeing (and lusting after) the amazing never-able-to-afford-in-my-little-lifetime (even on sale) Acne wedges everywhere, I was determined to find a bargain-friendly pair to not only keep my tootsies toasty warm for the upcoming snowy season, but also to keep my shoe style as current (and chic) as possible.  So I'm sure you can imagine my delight when I saw the suede-licious lace-ups above sitting all by their lonesome on a TJ Maxx shoe shelf.  For fifty dollars.  Needless to say they are now waiting ever so patiently at the bottom of my closet while I dream up all the different ways I can wear and show them off.

Bust A Move

I've decided to bust out a little style move for the colder months that will inevitably hit much sooner than they are welcome around these parts and I'm going to wear nothing but these beautiful bustiers from Dark Pony Designs.  Seriously ... can't you just picture them with the highest of high-waisted pants, no muss/no fuss blazers and cozy boyfriend cardis and two-tone, patent-leathery oxfords?  I know I can.

I have been waiting and waiting for a lovely little line to dazzle me and my pretty pennies - and now my wait is officially over - thanks to the girlies over at Spotted Moth. 

Now all I want to do is don this darling of a dress (that I not-so-secretly wish I could wear every single day) and this too-fabulous-for-words flowery headband (that I am the lucky and proud owner of due to a giveaway a la CC and Love, Lulu Mae) and immediately find the nearest field to frolic the day away in.
